Assessment Tools

Our team believes that, in order to improve organizational performance within a company, you must first understand your current culture and the perceptions of your employees.  To maximize team performance, it is important to determine your team’s current state and to subsequently measure the outcomes of the team’s performance in future months post training.  Many types of assessment tools exist for this purpose.  Careful research and years of field-testing by our consulting team has led us to adopt the tools we feel provide you the best data with measurable outcomes.

Individual/Team Assessments

Emotional Quotient (EQ)

The Emotional Intelligence 2.0 delivers a step-by-step program for increasing your EQ via four core EQ skills that enable you to achieve your fullest potential: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management.  The tool can help you determine those personal qualities that enable some people to possess better “emotional well-being” skills than others.  Once a participant’s EQ test results are analyzed and discussed, our team incorporates skill development addressing the individual or team’s areas of opportunity.  Participants will create a Professional Leadership Development Action Plan™ to be utilized throughout the entire training and coaching process.

We provide individuals  with the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 book and ask them to take a online edition of the world’s most popular EQ test—the Emotional Intelligence Appraisal®—which pinpoints the strategies that will increase their EQ with impact and tests their EQ a second time to measure their progress over the course of training and coaching.

Predictive Index® (PI®) Assessment Tool

Predictive Index® helps to identify the motivations and drives of their people. This provides you with invaluable information for improved employee retention, coaching, leadership development, talent management, team performance and more.  A trained PI® analyst should always review the results of the Predictive® Index survey in order to obtain the best results.  Our PI® analyst is certified to read those results accurately. This tool includes the PI Reporter®, which provides the participant with a brief overview of the results of the PI® survey and prompts them to consider many aspects of their strongest behaviors, management style, selling styles and management strategies.

360° Surveys

360˚ Surveys rate individuals at all levels based on 20 competencies that EQ research suggests are linked to emotional intelligence.  This important tool allows for feedback that will positively alter leadership behaviors.  Our completely independent and confidential 360° Surveys are custom designed with your input to identify areas you want to assess.  Upon completion, a report of the results and our recommendations is provided.

Corporate Cultural Assessment ©

Our Corporate Cultural Assessment© utilizes custom 360° Surveys to allow Senior Executives to gain a confidential insight on the current state of their company’s culture.  The survey is a tool that allows all levels of the organization to provide feedback on topics or issues the management team desires to uncover.  A predetermined group responds to a 360° Survey designed to identify key cultural strengths, weaknesses, areas of opportunity, and employee perceptions regarding processes and procedures in place. The goal is to obtain a baseline of the current state of the organization, which will aid in the planning to determine the look of the organization’s future state.  This tool is a critical component when the need for organizational change and strategies are to  be implemented.

Team Assessments

The Team Assessment Survey is a tool to uncover the most pressing issues or needs of a specific group. Obtaining the feedback of an entire team in assessing an organization facilitates buy-in of the training process by that team. The goal is to take a team to an agreed upon future state during the course of the training process.  This Assessment provides your team with a sense of its strengths and areas for improvement.  While the assessment itself is certainly quantitative and data-driven, the most important aspects are the qualitative perspective it provides for that team and the discussion it provokes around specific issues.
